Volunteer with World Impact
Every member of CityLife is encouraged to get involved in missions, and there are many ways to do so without jumping onto an aeroplane bound
for an international destination.
Missionary Support Groups
Many of our missionaries have a local committee of people who serve as connection points for others interested in
finding out more, these Support Groups also organise prayer meetings, run fundraising events and send out updates
on their missionary to other individuals and Life Groups who have adopted their missionary.
Event Help
World Impact runs several events each year to raise awareness and funds for missions. Our biggest event is World
Impact Week, which is held in the first half of each year where for 9 days, the focus at CityLife is purely on missions
with special events like the World Impact Bazaar, Missions Insights and International Night.
Individuals and Life Groups can get involved by running stores selling items at the Bazaar and food stalls at
International Night to raise funds for missions. They can also get involved by helping with the practical aspects of set
up, overseeing and pack down at these events.
Office Support
All through the year and especially leading up to major World Impact Events, there are many administrative tasks
that individuals can help World Impact with during normal business hours. Tasks like photocopying, folding,
organising product, creating display boards, etc. Depending on what individuals are willing or able to do, it is quite
likely that they can help in some way.
