ROAR Children's Ministry aims to provide age appropriate teaching on the foundations of the Christian Faith in a contemporary, relevant and fun style.

We not only want to reach out to the children of our congregation but to also reach out to our community. We want to raise them up in the things of God, so they will come to know, love and serve our Heavenly Father.

ROAR Groups

Our Lion Cubs room is specifically designed for children from 12 months old. Each child will stay in the same room for the entire calendar year. This will enable the children to be familiar with the leaders, their friends, programme and the surroundings. Our team of leaders in Lion Cubs aim to provide a fun, safe, and loving environment for both parent and child as we share Jesus' love with them. Although the sessions are structured, children are encouraged to participate according to their interest. The session includes free playtime, praise and worship, interactive Bible story, simple craft related to the Bible story and snack time. Each month features a different teaching focus. Look out for the monthly handout that you can use to reinforce each months’ Bible teaching at home through the use of rhyme. Mums and dads are encouraged to be involved in Lion Cubs to enjoy seeing their little ones begin their spiritual adventure with God.

Little Giants is for children aged 2 to 3 years. The programme provides a friendly, encouraging and safe environment in which the children can enjoy learning about God and how they can have a relationship with him. The session includes free playtime, snack time, a mat time during which we have praise and worship, story time, prayer, and hands-on activities that helps them learn about God. The children then do a craft activity which relates directly to the lesson. Each month a copy of the bottom line & rhyme is sent home with the children. Parents are encouraged to be involved in the programme on a regular basis. The wonderful team of leaders have a heart to model & teach these young children how to have a wonderful relationship with God.

Mighty Warriors is a preschool program for children in kindergarten. It is a fun and interactive style program, which allows children to hear about Jesus and understand who he is to them personally. The leaders who run this program all love young children and are passionate about demonstrating Gods love through their ministry. In the Mighty Warriors program we aim to provide a service that is safe, accessible and enjoyable to all children. We also understand that children learn in three main ways; hearing, seeing and participation. Therefore we ensure that the children are given opportunities to engage in an enjoyable program, which meet these requirements. We understand the importance of providing preschool children with age appropriate activities to help develop both their social, emotional, physical, cognitive and of course spiritual needs. Our friendly team work hard to provide the best program, to encourage, develop and support the children’s relationship with God.

All Stars is an energetic, fun and biblical based program for children in Prep - Year 1. Each month a Christian virtue is taught with a corresponding memory verse, Bible lesson and craft activity. Our friendly adult leaders are all security checked, passionate about children's ministry and enthusiastic about teaching the children of Gods love and care for them.A special component of the program is the LifeGroup time when the children have opportunity to share with the leader and each other their joys, concerns and prayer requests. Trailblazers is a high energy tailor made place for any kid in grades 2-3. Each week we play exciting games and journey back in time to hear amazing stories and see fantastic drama unfold. Join us to learn more about God, life and how it all fits together in a kids world.

456 is a dynamic program that tackles the tough questions our preteen children are asking about their relationships with God, others and themselves. We dig into the real-life issues they are dealing with every day - and find out what the Bible has to say about them. Our preteens are bombarded on a daily basis with difficult challenges, temptations and questions. We understand that parents have the biggest influence over their children’s lives and know that learning is not just on the weekends. We provide parents with material to carry on the conversation at home in easily outlined handouts. Some of the topic’s that we discuss include, "What's the Big Deal About Sin?" and "My Relationship with God: Who Do You Think He Is?".
