ALPHA - Looking for Answers?
What is Alpha?
Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in an informal, fun and friendly environment. ‘Is there more to life?’, ‘What happens when we die?’, ‘Does heaven exist?’, ‘Is Jesus relevant for today?’, ‘Does prayer really work’, ‘Why is there so much suffering?’, and other topics will be covered. Each session consists of a meal together, a talk on one of the topics and some small group discussion time where people can say as much or as little as they like. There is also an option for a weekend away. It is a brilliant course.
Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for everyone; no question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. We don’t assume any background knowledge of or belief in Christianity and everyone is welcome.
Introductory Dinner – no obligations!
Each course begins with an introductory meal. You don’t have to do the whole course, you can simply come check Alpha out at the introductory dinner and decide from then whether the course is what you are looking for.
When Is Alpha On?
CityLife Church is a church in many locations. At various times there will be courses running at each location in large settings and also in house or what we call ‘LifeGroup’ settings.
Alpha in the large setting usually runs on a Monday night, LifeGroups run on various nights.
