Paulos & Ababo
Paulos and Ababo have been involved in a short wave radio broadcasts to the 30 million Oromo people in Ethiopia for more than 15 years; first with the Gospel Broadcasting Service (GBS) in Kenya and subsequently with HCJB Australia in Melbourne. This ministry has impacted thousands of Oromo speaking Ethiopians over many years. They have helped in pioneering a church plant for refugees in Kenya, and have also initiated a church plant for their community here in Melbourne. Now they have relocated back to the country of their origin, Ethiopia, to head the Church Plant initiative of CityLife Church in Addis Ababa (Finfine). They have three children: Thomas, Raji, and Debbie.

Ethiopia
Ethiopia is located in Eastern Africa and its neighbouring countries are Eritrea, Sudan, Djibouti, Somalia and Kenya.
It is also in close proximity to Egypt and the Middle East. As a Church we believe that this is a strategic launching place to impact the continent of Africa and the region.
Ethiopia today is a land of 80 million people of various cultural and ethnic backgrounds. The most numerous of these, totalling over 30 million people, are the Oromo people. Ethiopia is strategically located in East Africa – it neighbours three Islamic nations such as Sudan, Djibouti, Somalia, and is in close proximity to Egypt and the Middle East.
