As a community, CityLife Church both sends and supports missionaries in 10 regions of the world. Our missionaries are all over the world, having sacrificed much to go and bring the gospel to the least reached and marginalised people groups. They engage with local communities through programs meet them at their point of need, build relationships and with much effort earn the right to be heard when they speak of the Good News of Jesus Christ. This is no easy task and they need our help and support.
Your support means a great deal and you can do this through persistent
prayer, by providing
financial support for them personally or for one of their
projects. Whatever the method, you can commit to doing this for a short term (3-6 months) or by
adopting them for the longer term.
Short-term mission teams are a vital part of the CityLife strategy to impact nations for Christ. Each year we partner with our mission workers in various parts of the world to make a difference through leadership training, evangelism, children’s ministry, worship and the arts, youth and young adult ministry, meeting physical needs such as medical and dental services, and assisting our workers in practical ways.
God’s heart is that every person, from every nation and language has the opportunity to hear of His great love for them, and through short term teams we have the ability to make a difference in lives in other nations through the talents and skills He has gifted us with.
Would you consider using your gifts to make a difference in another nation?
We have a range of missions trips planned for 2012, so if you have interest in a particular CityLife mission worker, country, ministry focus or perhaps you have a specific timeframe available, there will be an opportunity for you.
Short Term Team
training is available each term through LifeTrax.
