CityLife Spanish Church

CityLife Spanish Church is reaching to the Spanish and Brazilian speaking communities. We have a wide range of age groups attending the church as a result of the fact that the sermons are in English and then translated into Spanish. So there are a number of youth and young adults attending the church. Families are well catered for because of the great children’s ministry run at CityLife Casey. Families are coming back to church because their children love the kids ministry.

Our challenge is to be the best Church possible and to love and care for the people in our Church. Our goal is to create a loving, caring and accepting culture. Many of the visitors are blown away by the quality of our service and the friendly, loving atmosphere. One of our older attendees commented that “this will be my home church until I go to be with Jesus”.

CityLife Spanish Church has just celebrated our one year service with a fantastic message from Mark Conner, a great morning tea with Latin American delicacies and a record attendance of 160 people for the event. A highlight of our first year was a Latin American Festival, run on 27th October 2007. Traditional Andean music, a Latin guitar trio and Chilean Folk dancing were the features of the night. Well over 400 people enjoyed the Latin American delicacies and, as a result of the success of the night, another Latin American Festival will be run in 2008. Another highlight was a Barbeque for the 40 plus Brazilians who are part of our church community.
